पश्चिम विदर्भातील मोर्शी तालुक्यातील शिंभोंरा येथील अप्पर वर्धा धरणाच्या पाणलोट क्षेत्रात गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून सतत दार पाऊस होत असल्यामुळे व नद्यांना आलेल्या पुरामुळे 13 वक्र दरवाज्या पैकी 7 वक्र दरवाजे गुरुवार दिनांक 28 ऑगस्ट रोजी सायंकाळी 8 वाजता 337.47 द. ल घ. मीटर प्रति सेकंद विसर्ग वर्धा नदी पात्रात सोडण्यात आला आहे.वर्धा नदीकाठच्या लोकांना सावधानतेचा इशारा प्रशासनाच्या वतीने देण्यात आला आहे.

आज दिनांक 28/08/2025 रोजी सायंकाळी 6 वाजता उर्ध्व वर्धा प्रकल्पाचा सुरू असलेला विसर्ग 96.41 घमीप्रसे वरून वाढवून 337.47 घमीप्रसे एवढा करण्यात येत आहे. आता 7 द्वार 30 सेमी ने उचलून 337.47 घमीप्रसे एवढा विसर्ग वर्धा नदीपात्रामध्ये सोडण्यात येत आहे.
